Steve Rindsberg, Microsoft MVP and co-creator of PPTools.com, talks about presenter view. Presenter view allows you more control over your presentation, such as the ability to show slides out of sequence and a black-out button that allows you to blacken the screen for the audience while maintaining your view of the presentation and your notes on your own monitor. Presenter view works on an operating system that supports multiple displays and allows you to run your presentation from one monitor and let the audience view it on another monitor or a projector.
When you save your presentation as a template, you can use its formatting, including the type and size of bullets and fonts; placeholder sizes and positions; background design and fill color schemes; and a slide master and optional title master.
Do you know you can change the color of clip art? It's easy to customize your favorites.
Self-running presentations are a great way to communicate information without having to have someone available to run a slide show presentation. For example, you might want to set up a presentation to run unattended in a booth or kiosk at a trade show or convention, or send a CD with a self-running slide show to a client.
