PRESENTATION DELIVERY

 Reflections

So -we are all keyed up - we've spent the last few days polishing up the material, we have our head stuffed full of figures, and our PowerPoint slides tell the whole story - and a lot more besides - and we are ready to go.

And then you notice that people are beginning to look out of the window, a few seem to be having a problem keeping their eyes open, and one or two keep looking at their watches.

What's gone wrong? It's the DELIVERY!

Yes the material may be perfect - all the facts nicely lined up - but if the way of putting them over isn't right - then it'll fall flat on the ground.

At the beginning of my presentation skills courses I ask the audience to list the 10 qualities that they believe make a good speaker, and the 10 worst qualities of speakers they have seen. And when you analyze the results you see that between 60-75% of the good qualities have nothing to do with the material, but with the DELIVERY, how the facts are put over!

And that has to do with how our brain works and takes in and retains information.

I'd love to tell you more about that and how to unlock those secrets.  It's all contained in my audio course,  available here.
